From its early beginnings as the Clearing House, founded by Lois W. and Anne B. in 1951, to its formal incorporation as a nonprofit under the name Al‑Anon Family Group Headquarters, Inc. in 1954, the World Service Office (WSO) has been the heart of Al‑Anon service for over 75 years!
